The rapid spread and rising cases of COVID-19 – the novel coronavirus – is of concern to us all as news headlines about the pandemic and the world’s response are evolving daily.

We’d like to reassure you that BTS is taking the spread of Coronavirus very seriously and is doing its’ part to help stop the spread of the virus.  Our number one priority remains the safety and wellbeing of our people and customers, providing a safe and clean business environment.

We are staying well informed of the developing situation and are following the advice and recommendations from the Government, Public Health England and the World Health Organisation.

To ensure we can provide the best service possible we will continually review the ever-changing situation and have communicated our COVID-19 policy to all staff in our offices; implementing safe and hygienic practises with cleaning regimes in our offices and at customer sites, including thorough and frequent handwashing and mandatory use of disposable gloves and wipes by our engineers on all customer jobs.  We have also increased our cleaning, particularly for those areas touched regularly by team members and customers.

Finally, to help minimise the spread of the virus, we are following the latest Government recommendations and asking any team members with flu-like symptoms to self-isolate in accordance with the current guidelines and any team member returning from certain affected areas abroad – or those who have been in close personal contact with someone who has contracted the virus – to self-isolate for 14 days.
