We’re very proud to announce that our Director, David Bairner is taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge and attempting to complete it within an impressive 24-hour period, to raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation.

The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon…So, it’s most definitely not one for the faint hearted!

Talking of the challenge, David said: “The plan is to climb each of these three peaks – one after the other within a period of just 24 hours. I am doing it to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, a charity which is very close to my heart due to the work it has done to support very close friends of mine.

It’s only thanks to support from people like us that the British Heart Foundation can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24, for example, could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist. I am extremely grateful for any donations – every pound helps, so please give whatever you can to help me hit my target. You can read more about why I’m doing it on my Just Giving page.”

We wish David every success in this incredible challenge and are of course looking forward to hearing all about it when it’s complete. If you would like to support David by making a donation, please visit his Just Giving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/david-bairner1

Many thanks!
