It’s time to shine the spotlight on the Canon imageRunner ADVANCE C3500 II Series, which includes two models: the C3525i II and the C3530i II. Both models offer standard printing, copying and scanning with optional faxing, plus a range of innovative tools designed to help businesses achieve maximum productivity.

The C3500 II series is part of the 3rd edition of the third generation imageRunner ADVANCE platform, which was upgraded last year to enhance productivity using intelligent document workflows for demanding office environments. Let’s take a look at what these MFPs can do for your business…

This series of devices was developed specifically to support businesses in reducing their total cost of printing; this is achieved through user tracking that provides full visibility of all print activity. We would always recommend this series to businesses looking to optimise their day-to-day workflows, due to the functionality that enables collaboration with a number of business applications and systems in the cloud.

Another reason the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C3500 II Series is a favourite with our customers is security. For the first time, Canon has introduced Security Information Event Management (SIEM) integration, which is a significant shift. SIEM solutions collect and analyse data from a company’s IT environment and provide real-time indicators of potential security threats.

Some of the standard security features include user authentication, device and function-level log-in, hard disk drive erase, IP/Mac address filtering and encrypted secure print. There are a number of optional features too, such as hard disk drive mirroring, hard disk drive removal, data loss prevention, and document scan locking. It’s all part of equipping customers with a comprehensive solution that will help improve business efficiency and reduce the burden on IT teams.

Both models include the Canon Dual Custom Processor, 3GB of memory and a 250GB hard drive as standard. The 10.1″ colour touchscreen control panel is also a significant benefit. With the familiar functionality of a smartphone, the control panel is highly intuitive and uses a feature called My ADVANCE, which allows each user to customise specific features (i.e. a personal address book) based on their specific workflows.

To further support this upgrade last year, Canon’s BLI award-winning cloud-based solution uniFLOW has also been updated. Businesses will benefit from the increased synergy between the hardware and software, which will help streamline internal processes. This latest version – uniFLOW Online 2019.1 – offers additional functionality such as Print from Cloud functionality and compatibility with a range of service providers including Box, Dropbox, Evernote®, Google Drive™, Microsoft OneDrive®, and Microsoft SharePoint® Online.

So, a quick recap of some of those key benefits:
