Zenith Canopy Structures grew as a trading arm of Zenith Promotions and Marquee Hire, which formed as a partnership in 1990. The business specialises in the sale, installation and maintenance of canopies for permanent and semi-permanent use. Zenith Promotions and Marquee Hire now operates as a trading arm of Zenith Canopy Structures Limited.

Zenith is determined to be the first choice for well-designed canopy structures, exhibition stands and marquees. The team aims to achieve this by offering good value, quality products combined with the best possible customer service.

Challenge

Zenith Canopy Structures needed to implement a solution to address all of the business’ technology needs. They quite simply didn’t have the expertise or resource to manage this effectively in-house, and so needed a supplier who would act as an extension of their team and take complete control. Zenith ultimately required a local and knowledgable provider who would come in and manage their print and document management, and later on, the IT element of their business too.

This all happened 20 years ago, when technology was really only just fully breaking through in business. There was a lack of knowledge and for Zenith, technology was an area that required an external resource with the capacity to manage it effectively.

Solution

BTS began supplying Zenith Canopy Structures with print and document management solutions just over 20 years ago. The team at BTS continues to handle duties that would otherwise have been assigned to employees of Zenith. As a result, they are able to focus fully on the business without the worry of print and IT issues arising and potentially resulting in downtime or disruption.

BTS is responsible for Zenith’s complete managed print service, which includes multifunctional printers (MFPs) and a document management solution. The service ensures the whole print process is streamlined and money is saved through tools that improve efficiency and increase productivity.

In those 20 years since BTS began work with Zenith, both businesses have expanded significantly and BTS now also services Zenith with IT and telecoms support too. As part of their IT offering, BTS fitted a complete computer system in Zenith’s office, which is formed of nine terminals.
